The Dolomites are a range of mountain located in northeastern Italy. Form a part of the Southern Limestone Alps and stretch from the River Adige in the west to the Piave Valley in the east. A national park and few regional parks are located in the Dolomites. In August 2009, the Dolomites were named as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the winter months it is very famous among tourist because of wide range of activities such as mountain climbing, hiking, cycling, and BASE jumping. 


Etna is the tallest active volcano in Europe with currently 3,329 m (10,922 ft) high. It is located on the east coast of Sicily, Italy. First volcanic activity shows in about 500,000 years ago and it’s still on active condition. In June 2013, it was listed to UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Capri is an island located in the Campania region of Italy. In summer, Capri is a tourist destination, especially by day trippers from Naples and Sorrento. Because of temples, villas, aqueducts, and planted gardens, so visitors could enjoy his private paradise. Also it has 12 churches, 7 museums and several monuments. Capri has special cave, which is the most tourist attractive place among tourist. 

The Aeolian Islands is a volcanic island. It was listed by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites in November 2000, because of specific geographical features. In the summer, up to 200,000 visitors annually visit Aeolian Island. 

Lake Garda is the largest lake in Italy. The northern part of the lake surrounded by mountains. Lake Garda from space with its wind patterns. The ancient town of Sirmione, located on the south of the lake, is one especially popular terminus.
